idea

3 channel operating

  1. Dry Signal (input) , with a gate control
  2. looping buffer , with another gate control to Ch.3
  3. another buffer loop, effect processed (wet / dry )

Sampling approach

  1. buffer gate open when audio level passed through a THRESHOLD, REC to buffer LOOP (1) at time T1 to time T2, while T2 is the audio signal below the threshold
  2. loop the buffer LOOP (1) from T1 (0 start) to T2 (end) instancely , the buffer will keep playing until buffer gate open again
  3. while buffer gate open, buffer LOOP (1) stop play
  4. say buffer gate open again in T1" (reference to buffer LOOP (1) ) and last for k seconds, it will record to the buffer LOOP (2)
  5. buffer LOOP (1) will continue to play at T1" once LOOP(2) finished recording
  6. after LOOP (1) reach the T2 point, New buffer LOOP (3) is generated.
  7. Buffer LOOP (3) composed of
    LOOP (1) T1 → T1" LOOP (2) T1 → T2 LOOP (1) T1" → T2
    like splitting into the gap of the moment when gate is opened
